TIMEZONE GOLD COAST COLLECT ANOTHER AWARD

Timezone Gold Coast went on to collect the June 2016 Tourism, Hospitality and Events award at the Gold Coast Business Awards monthly presentation.

Already recognised as the largest indoor family entertainment centre in Australia and the biggest Timezone™ in the world, the prestigious monthly awards are another well deserved credit to the enterprising Gold Coast business.

Timezone™ Gold Coast collected the award after being rigorously assessed on operational efficiency, business history, management practices, innovation, environmental practices, citizenship ( supporting the local community ), significant achievements and onward future business planning.

Accepting the June 2016 Award, Owner-Director of the Timezone™ Surfers Paradise partnership, Mr Juan Uribe acknowledged all who helped the business achieve the prestigious honors.

“I would like to pay tribute to our Timezone™ Gold Coast team whose efforts are benchmarked by these monthly awards, and thank all of our customers who are the reason behind these accolades, our success and the family fun centre revolution,” Uribe said.

The Timezone™ Surfers Paradise location houses a variety of activities under one indoor roof including Laser Skirmish, bumper cars, miniature golf, a vintage shooting gallery, basketball games and a bowling alley among other innovative attractions. The family entertainment centre also host birthday parties and also provides a new venue for corporate functions and events for businesses.

With Uribe at the helm, the Surfers Paradise family entertainment centre has expanded its size from 3400 sqm to 5000 sqm in recent years.

In February this year a brand new 3000 sqm Timezone opened for business on the southern Gold Coast at Coolangatta. This second store is truly testament to the commitment that Timezone has on the Gold Coast.

“We changed the concept to focus on families by bringing in attractions and activities rather than video games. Now 80 per cent of our visitors are families,” he said.
